With more than 70,000 mom groups on the site, CafeMom is striving to create an even better experience for the thousands of moms who sign up each day and the millions of moms who visit each month.

We are looking for a dynamic Community Director to join our Groups Team that works directly with group owners and leading moms on the site – to help scale up our Groups in key categories and topics (examples include Pregnancy, Babies, 20 Something Moms, Military Moms, Single Moms, even New Jersey Moms, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy and own business metrics for designated categories of Groups

• Increase traffic and mom experience on designated categories of Groups

• Recruit, train, and support leading moms on the site to serve as group owners, group mods, etc.

• Serve as active participant in key groups – welcoming moms, connecting with users, making the group more vibrant and fun

• Drive membership in key groups – working within and outside of CafeMom to promote the groups

• Work with senior management, product teams, and marketing teams to improve mom experience and increase site traffic and engagement

Experience:

• 5 years+ experience in community management

• A passionate contributor to existing communities

• Great ability to connect with moms

• Excellent communication skills – must be able to regularly work with group owners and mods to discuss traffic numbers, incentive opportunities, marketing plans, etc.

• Highly organized, attention to detail

• Strong ability to multi-task, think strategically and problem solve

• Bachelor degree or higher

• Overall knowledge of Digital Media industry

Compensation:

A competitive base salary will be offered. In addition we offer health/dental/vision benefits, 401k, stock option plan, life insurance, paid time-off, and many perks.
